citroen xm 95 2.5 td, old workhorse.
fuel lines are taking in air. parked on level ground it has recently become difficult to start. turns over but will not fire unless i bleed air using the primer on the roto fuel filter which was chnged 2 wks ago. old seals crap fit and v.careful putting on new ones
someone at work said try parking downhill and gravity will keep the fuel in the lines.as daft as it sounds this works perfectly.it fires first turn of the key
where do i start to work out where the problem is? i hope its not the injection pump as these are not cheap
