hit a trailer

i hit a trailer at low speed at lights. I carried on round the coner as i knew there was place to pull in and its clearly signposted and he was going the same direction and pulled over thinking he would do the same. He did not there was not damage to his trailer and my car had only a cracked bumper. can i do anything?
