Whilst travelling to work yesterday, the WARNING ENGINE FAULT light came on on the on board computer, I indicated to pull over, but then the brakes failed, it was like pressing fresh air, i ended up on the wrong side of the road and going around the roundabout the wrong way to avoid any cars in front, fortunately then i managed to hand brake it and we stopped. I was doing about 30-35mph but by the time I was over the roundabout I would imagine I was doing about 50mph as the road is on a decline. Fortunately it was just after 7am and there was not many about. I have taken it to my local citroen garage and they say there is nothing wrong with it!! It is not yet 1 year old and only has 9000 on the clock. Has anyone else suffered the same? And am I able to refuse to take the car back? I have a young baby and I do not feel safe to drive this vehicle anymore. All advice appreciated
