i have just added tunes to my nano but wondered if i can plug nano into my pc and listen to music while at my pc?

The idea is that you put your music into your iTunes library, and then use that to update your nano with, so that you can be listening to your music from iTunes while at your computer.

But, in answer to the question, you can simply plug in your iPod to the PC and click on its icon on the left hand side of iTunes, and listent to its contents while at your PC. My iPod has tracks that I've taken off friends' iTunes, so I do this when wanting to listen to my iPod at my desk.
