Peugot 407 - screen display

My computer screen in the 407 will always show the AC control panel in the small left-hand screen, unless I turn it off then the clock comes up. How do I change the colour display to get the compass or clock up when I like? I have tried the local garage and they have no idea whatsoever. It is a small but really annoying problem.
