hi,i have a mk4 astra hatchback on a 52 plate and the rear wiper motor in the hatch has seized.does anyone know if a wiper motor from a mk3 94 to98 model will fit,thanks

Hi lysses,
is it the motor that has seized, or just the shaft that goes through the boot lid?? the rain goes down the shaft, and can seize it up-spray it with wd40 while trying to work it back and forwards. if/when you get a bit of movement, switch it on, and continue to spray for a bit if it works with oil.

oops!-forgot a bit!! check the fuse before you try it-might have blown when it was seized.
