125cc Scooter With A Full Car License?

I've just passed my car driving test, and now have a full car license. I have done a CBT on my scooter, which I have been told is valid until my license expires. I currently ride a 125cc scooter with L Plates. Do I need to keep them on?

unless you have passed your full motorcycle test you need to keep the l plates on
