anyone know at what mileage the cam belt replacement is due?its an s reg 1998 model with 77,000miles on clock.also if its a big job to do. cheers xx

This would normally be at 100,000 Km or around 62,000 miles, so you are well past the time for replacement.
on another subject.....i like these L200's but i have been told they give you a bad back?? what do you reckon?
Go to the Mitsibushi web site so you don't have to read peoples guesses.
Where I live the place is covered with doublecab's of all types, and yes I do know people who have stopped using them due to back problems because of the quite hard suspension especially on the 4x4 models.
The only one which is OK is the Chevrolet which is quite soft compared to the others, I don't know if you get that model in the UK though?
