just bought rear lexus lights for my car, is it legal to have clear bulbs or do you have to have orange ones?

If the lenses are clear the bulbs need to be the proper colour. It is illegal to show white light at the back of the car unless it is reversing. It is illegal for turn signals to be any colour other than orange.
