You must all be fed up with hearing about my R reg Fiesta, but every day I notice something else! Now there's a rhythmic clunking noise when I brake long (like when i'm approaching changing traffic lights). It goes: clunk...clunk...clunk...clunk-clunk-clunk-clunk, getting faster the more pressure I put on the brake pedal. Any ideas?

Sounds like loose or broken brake pads or linings or a damaged brake disk, either way you need to get the brakes checked out asap. Could also be loose wheel nuts, but you'll soon find out !!!

Didn't some fords fiesta mk III have a odd mechanical anti-lock brake system for the front wheels only? Maybe the noise is coming from that system. Anyway you had better get it checked out ASAP.
