toyot yaris does not have front deroster

Hi

I live in Thailand and just leased a new Yaris
I went to the dearler after spending hours trying to find the front Defroster The vents are there at the front window, but theres no switch to turn them on ( DOES NOT BLOW AIR). I went back to the dearler and they could not find it either and all the Yaris at the Toyota Dearler did not have a front Defrosters that worked--- Whats the answer? ARE ALL YARIS DEFECTIVE? is this a toyota mistake.

Most defrosters work from the heater system so you would need a warm engine and the heater fan turned on with the heater control set to screen.
