my friend has a s reg escort gti and the head gasket has gone does he need a new engine or can this be fixed and at what cost??

It can be fixed but the head may need to be skimmed in order to make sure it hasn't warped. Its nice costly job, probably around the �600 mark depending on where you go to have it done.

yes can be easily repaired, the gasket will cost very lil but the rest of the process the garage will charge you 5-6 bills,

yea i agree wiv guddu ur mate doesnt need a new engine. head gasket can be fixed very easily but most garages will charge you for skimming etc.
