I bought a brand new kia picanto in august 05 and have had nothing but problems and agro from the company. Items were missing that they then refused to replace, i had a break in and discovered my reg plates wiere wrong, when i try and contact the service department they NEVER get back to me and rarely have even a suggestion of help..... I am exasperated withthe whole affair. The car itslf has been fine (touchwood) but the service has and still is abysmal.

I have a Kia Picanto 54 and am pleased to say my car is fine and the service is good too. Can you not go to a different garage that deals with Kia and explain your situation. I did not understand the bit about your reg plates being wrong. Hope you get it sorted. It's a great little car apart from having no spare wheel.

I drove the car out of the garage with registration plates on that i assumed to be correct! I had free insurance etc so they did all that for me so I never questioned it (maybe my own fault). In December i had a break in and had to make a claim for new glass. The claim didn't go through as they said the car was not registered to me but to someone else. After a long 'to do' i discovered i had been driving around with the wrong plates on! I had to get the car re registered.
