I am absolutely useless at Maths, (very ashamed) and trying to help my Grandaughter with her homework is a nightmare for me, does anyone know of any apps that would help me, to help her.

Fruitsalad; If you're really useless at maths, then wouldn't it be best to find apps that she could use herself? I don't know of any. If you posted an example of the sort of questions she has it might help someone here to find something. If we knew what level to look for we might be able to find something.
It's a vast subject, can you give us some parameters, age etc. What sorts of things? There are some brilliant you tube videos by a US teacher called Eddie Woo, generally 10 minute videos with a brilliant explanation for things. Just search Eddie Woo on You tube.

She's aged 11 and a year 7 pupil, it's mainly example:- name the angle ACB and another one is 7, 7, 3, 7, 10, 3, 7 a) meridian =
b) Range =
a) Meridian? Median perhaps?
for the range subtract the lowest from the highest: so here 10-3=7
"name the angle ACB" - ABC is the name of an angle.
There is a programme/app? Called DOODLE MATHS. Granddaughter found it helpful. Also maths revision books for each year on Amazon and used to be at Smiths
for the median sort the numbers in order from lowest to highest and the median is the one in the middle
7, 7, 3, 7, 10, 3, 7
3, 3, 7, 7, 7 ,7, 10
so the median here is 7
Perhaps they're looking for acute/obtuse for the name of the angle if there is a diagram.
what other info is there on "name the angle ACB"
Disagree with TTT on angle ACB... its different to angle AbC.
Angle acb is the angle C between line AC and line Bc.
bob: ""name the angle ACB" - ABC is the name of an angle. " that was a typo ACB is the name of the angle, ABC is a typo I was just trying to understand the context:
"name the angle ABC" is that an instruction or an enquiry asking what the name of angle ABC is?
Nor sure what 'name it' means though... maybe as was said it means what type of angle such as right angle or reflex or accute etc
Yes that may be it, if fruitsalad, would answer the follow ups we may be able to help.

There is quite a few angle questions but not sure how to show them on here, thank you all for advice.
take a picture and post here: https://imgbb.com/ or similar site.
Bbc bitsize.maths ks3
That should be helpful, bobb
Everybody here will give you the answers but doesn't your granddaughter have the textbook or notes from when she was taught these things? The teacher can't have just set homework to find the median for example without actually teaching it at some point surely?
