Renault 5 dash warning lights

I have a G reg Renault 5 which starts and runs well, however when it is ticking over or the revs drop below 1000 the oil and water warning lights come on.As soon as revs increase they go off.Any ideas please ?

Your tickover speed needs tewaking i'm sure it's not supposed to go below 1000 revs on tickover.

Revs should be 950RPM, just belloe 100 RPM, iam a mecanic not just a juesser. Ajust on carb
Probably just a bit of wear in the oil pump causing low pressure when hot. Could also be worn bearings or faulty pressure relief valve. An oil and filter change might improve matters. Provided there is sufficient pressure and flow during normal driving then it could still last a long time but check your AA membership! Not sure about the coolant light unless it is running too hot or they are both connected to come on together. What do you think powerselluk1?
