its it the done thing now to park on double yellow lines on a sunday (town centre im talking about) as no wardens work that day i'm always still wary of a fine off some one or other

I prefer to read the signs and adhere to the regulations rather than play Russian roulette with shift patterns of parking enforcement personnel.
Many town centres use cameras, not wardens.

its just that today in my town there's hundreds doing that and some blocking pavements while on double yellow this happens week after week dont think you liable with just a camera looking at you, well not here anyway

why i want park for free too,good luck to those who do.....
Car Parks on the Weekend should be Free, this helps local business pay their way.
police can issue ticket too ..they work Sunday !
I don't think the Police bother with parking offences any more Murray, unless it is causing a major problem.
Another result of cuts in public spending.
Actually Canary, I think enforcement of parking moved from the Police before the economic collapse of 2008.
