Hi

Was driving along a straight road the other night when i felt a momentary loss of power in my car no warning lights came on and it only lasted a few seconds the car has been fine since,

the only thing is that the car has been out in rain constantly recently and maybe i went through a puddle too quickly? the car is a petrol Seat

That's a possibility breadstick. Fingers crossed.
Next time you go to fill up, listen for how much hiss you get when you undo the filler cap. If it’s very noticeable it may be that the breather on the cap is (partially) blocked – that can create a vacuum that pulls fuel back from the engine.
Possible damp after hitting the Puddle, get some WD 40 & spray the Electrical Lead's / Coil Pack.
