Years gone by in the job I held, I often used to help stranded motorists, male / female, do you help others that have breakdowns? or do you just pass by thinking the person " May have asked for help on their mobile?
A few times I've helped people change a flat tyre, I have a trolleyjack and torque wrench residing in the back of my car so it only takes five minutes. Last time I couldn't help the poor young girl in a Corsa as I was late for court (as a witness, I'm no villain!)
Hot babe drivers in low cut tops , short skirts and heels will always get my help.More than willing to open their bonnets and give them a good service.
I came across a stranded elderly couple one Saturday morning when I was a rural postman. Their Nissan Cherry's clutch was slipping badly. They were not far into a 150 mile trip. Luckily the car had a manually adjusted clutch cable, and also luckily I had an adjustable spanner on me. I had had them on their way in about 10 minutes. The lady had tears in her eyes, and exclaimed I must have been sent by God !
I also happened upon a chap unable to shift the wheel nuts on his car, after getting a flat tyre. The nuts had been done up with an air gun, and probably not torqued to the correct spec. His car's wheel brace was not up to the job, but the post van's fitted and after a lot of sweat they undid.
