Thanks for your answer, l should add that l just went through the routine of fitting another fuse then after the rear wiper worked on two occasions the fuse blew the next time the ignition was switched on, this happened with the rear wiper switch in the off position. It seems as though it will run at times which leads me to beleive that the wiper motor is ok.
