Hi, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the cirrect place, but I thought I'd givr it a go here.

I travel around the country for work and sometimes I lose the radio stations that I like to listen to.
I would like to listen to music that I have on my iphone 4S, through the car speakers. Can this be done?

I have an Astra SRi 1.6

Thanks in advance

The easiest way is to get a new car radio as they nearly all have an ipod and iphone socket included now. You can get an adaptor fitted without changing the radio though, I think there are lots available. Have a look at Halfords.
Choose a blank FM station (I usually use 91.7) on the radio, match the iTrip to the same frequency and your music comes through your speakers.
I think an iTrip will be a tad cheaper than a new radio!
It might have been the one I had but mine that transmitted to the radio lost a considerable amount of both volume capacity and sound quality.

Ok, I don't know a lot about these kind of things, but what is an iTrip?
An iTrip is an FM transmitter. PLug it into your iphone/ipod and provided you are within 10 metres of a radio you can play your music through its speakers, like I said you just match up the 2 frequencies, it's that simple.
You can control the volume on both the phone or the radio speaker volume control.

Right, I've ordered myself an iTrip.

Thanks for the advice
Here is what is commonly known as An Idiot's Guide. That's not meant as derogatory, it's just a general term!
