ooops sorry.
Hey, nay bovver.
Maybe get in touch with a local haulage company with a Scania fleet, they may be able to help. Don't try Stobarts though, they have a waiting list as long as .........?
Thinking about it why not get him membership to the club......

Having been a 'trade plater' (trying to hitch lifts every day for 2½ years) I know that many (most?) haulage companies have insurance policies that prohibit anyone except company employees from being carried in the cabs of their trucks (and I'm eternally grateful to the countless truckers who risked their jobs, so that I didn't have to sleep in a ditch, by breaking their company's rules).

However your best route might still be to identify a local haulage company that operates Scania trucks and to submit a polite request (possibly offering a contribution to their favourite charity).

Alternatively (since 'long shots' sometimes pay off) try asking Scania UK for their help:

Whereabouts in the country are you?
Oops! Hit the submit button by mistake!

If you are anywhere near Northampton, I'l take him for a ride in my DAF tipper (much better than Scanias!!)
