Shame it's on the eve of the Coronation service tomorrow, it is sad to see the Queen without him, like she was on her own at her Jubilee service last year. Hope he recovers overnight .......

Ann, they say he will be on parade tomorrow......

Maybe it's just a precaution then to make sure he will be there by her side at this important and historic occasion. Thinking about it, that is probably the reason as they haven't said what is actually wrong with him .........
shame, but he is very elderly, and really probably not up to it at his age!........hope he does make it though......
That's a shame, I saw him at the Derby on Saturday and I thought how well he was doing. I hope he'll be alright.
I think he's just resting up for the main event tomorrow.
They have both seemed to age considerably over the last couple of years. I feel so sad about it. They have been amazing and worked so hard. I hope he is OK tomorrow.

I can't get over the fact that the Queen walks so well. She trots up steps really well without any support, much better than I can and I'm 22 years younger than her! Do you think eventually she will use a stick or hold someone's arm?
I`m sure we would all walk well if we had the best medical care that money can buy. Sorry but I am impressed by the Queen and her husband for what they do but I am more impressed by people in this country who have nothing and have to "make do". Congrats to the Queen and I hope her husband can be beside her for the celebrations.
237SJ, I'm not sure money can buy you good health when you get to that age, though if you've got it expensive care may help you keep it. I think that's where she is. Charles apparently hasn't inherited all the health genes, though.
Actually, we can't all be well even with the best medical care in the world. Think of Princess Margaret and other royals who even with great medical care haven't been so lucky. You can't buy good health even in this day and age.
Snap jno.
No amount of expensive medical care could alter the fact that I can't walk very well.
eek, I hope that wasn't a bone, Lottie?
sorry, that was a reply to two posts back...
Knowing my luck it probably was!!

Both the Queen and Prince Philip are wonderful for their ages ......
Yes they are Ann. But I think they have both rapidly aged in the last year or two. I admire them both. They have been a credit to this country in my opinion and I don't think any future royalty will compare. I may be wrong!
My mother went to her doctor 5 years ago and said that she had a lump in her underarm. The GP said that it was "the structure of the breast" It turned out it was a secondary 2.5cm tumour in her lymph gland and now she has secondary cancer in her bones. My mother was at the mercy of the NHS. Do you really think that the Queen would have been at the mercy of the NHS and would be in the same situation as my Mum now? I don`t think so.
237 - no. And I'm sorry to hear about your mum.
Thanks ummmm x
