Hi,
Further to
http://www.theanswerb.../Question1183793.html
found the problem was with some wires that needed to be replaced.
Everythings' ok now apart from the airbag light on the dash staying on. The diagnostics guy said it isn't an immediate problem, and doesn't affect the airbags themselves, tho' it would be an MOT fail.
Does this have to go to a Ford garage or is there another way round it ? Anyone know if there's a garage in the RG area that might have the necessary Ford equipment (which this diagnostics guy doesn't have).

Thanks

Take it to your nearest Ford dealer and they will run their diagnostic machine on your car and reset it for you .It may incur a small charge.

Thanks galeck1947, that's what the "diagnostic expert" said. Though I doubt it'll be a s-m-a-l-l charge.
