I have just had my Vehicle License Application V11 form through for my new Tax Disc.

On it there is a option where you can list your current milage.

What is the benefit of this? Is it worth listing?

Might be for data collection - a survery sort of thing.  Perhaps it's to do with the new idea of paying per mile that you drive - and they're just seeing how far people go between tax discs.  If there are no details about it on there, then give the DVLA a call on Monday or check out their website.  I'm sure you can find it! :-)
Yes because it records the actual mileage that the car has done and makes it difficult for the speedo to be 'clocked' and the car sold at a higher price.
