I'm not trying to start an argument here, hopefuly an amusing discussion but what are your motoring prejudices, ie things you dislike but with no good reason but you have a reason even though to most it's not a reason at all.
eg: Front wheel drive is the work of Satan, because the front wheels already do the steering and most of the breaking and cars should be driven from behind.

Back wheel drive is no good on slippery roads...
I'm prejudiced against people who write breaking instead of braking :-)

I don't like the little round mirror on my passenger mirror, which is supposed to help me to see traffic better in the blind spot, but doesn't make a blind bit of difference to me.

the above was for mark. Sorry about the typo
I don't like black German cars.

They are usually driven by inconsiderate a$$$holes

ummmm and mark please read op again.
Give way to HGVs & buses. Let small speedsters overtake; makes their day to pass a quality car :)
I don't like cars with blacked-out windows, it might be the Mafia.
I can never understand why rear wheel drive started in the first place. (don't get me wrong, I like kicking the back out on rear wheel drive cars).

But, it always seemed a counter-intuitive way to design a car in the first place, I Don't recall ever seeing a horse pushing a cart. I realise RWD is an easier package to put together engineering wise but I'm surprised that somebody didn't work round that earlier than they did.

I take it you know some people like that hopkirk.
Yeah, I have. And?
Chelsea Tractors. Especially when I see a woman driving one on the school run and she can barely see over the streering wheel...
why black, Hopkirk? German cars of all colours have the same flaw.
No, I don't but I see them on the roads regularly.

Oh, and black Range Rovers too.
Bendy buses, I hate them. (ALthough I don't drive but I cringe when man hostage is driving and there's one near us).

I think chuck, RWD was almost universal in the early days. Oddly enough it was the mini that gave the FWD transverse layout the kick into common usage.
they're on the way out, CD. All gone by New Year

Careful, there are some rear wheel drive lovers on here, and you will set them off again.

I think R1Geez might have been one of them, but I could be wrong.
Excellent news jno!
