i entered the car park to find that the entire one half of the car park is for parent and child...the remainder were several hundred yards further from the store.With several spaces for disabled(with which i have no complaint) it left little for others. Upon walking from a space that i eventually found i observed adultswith children of 14 years plus parked in the parent and family spaces.I find this very frustrating ,or is it just me being horrid? Ialso now see that child seats are kept permanently fixed in the cars with no child in tow....obviously to give the impression to any car park patroler that they are ok to park there.
Wont be going to that store again.

when I was a kid the biggest supermarket would be tiny by todays standards, most people shopped daily rather than doing a weeks shopping, there were also significantly less cars.

I have a 3 door fiesta and the doors are very wide so parking far away where its near to empty is best whether I've got Little Tiggs or not.

yes, I hate to say it but ummmm is right.

Also don;t park next to the trolley retrieval bays as folk have a habit of pushing them off from afar to see if they can "hit" the bay - and then miss.....

This is prevalent in the States as there has been an advert for the PGA (golf) with Sergio Garcia pushing his cart from some twenty yards and it locks straight into the trolleys....under the strap "These Guys are Good." They ought to be sued.......

very true ummmm. i remember parking at asda when some woman parked so close i could not get out of my car....i asked her nicely to move and was given the response that she could not reverse.. together with abusel
I eventually got her to move and i moved my spot too....i was quite amused when i was walking from car to see she had hit the ballard

i assume the safety aspect of trying to control and guide 4-5 small kids through a maze of cars, whilst carrying shopping or pushing a trolley so being unable to hold onto them and watch them all, rather outweighs a normal able bodied person having to walk a few extra feet.

how do they control 4 or 5 kids while pushing a trolley full of shopping down the aisle

as for big car parks i've seen wait well over 30 minutes to get a place on this one
