My ex did for clipping a wing mirror. Someone took down his reg and reported him. No damage either...
I think you only need to report if there is damage to people/animals.
no
I'd say it was the parked car's fault.

It was clearly carelessly parked.
Tambo - you're wrong. If someone witnessed it and reported it then he could get 'done'
if - ummmm
Well then the answer isn't 'no' is it....

just found this

If, as a driver, you are involved in a road-traffic accident and one or more of the following occurs:

•a person, other than yourself, is injured
•damage is caused to another vehicle or to someone else's property
•an animal has been killed or injured, except in your own vehicle or trailer (an 'animal' is defined as 'any horse, cattle, ass, mule, sheep, pig, goat or dog')
I caused no damage so why leave my details and if i did leave details that would be accepting that i caused damage surely
I only know what happened to my Ex....if there is no damage then the vehicle owner will be none the wiser.
If reported & you left the scene you will get done.
No one will know tammo. Forget it now and sleep sound.
an accident where nothing happens is not an accident.. are you absolutely sure you hit a parked car? perhaps you imagined it. Better not waste police time when they could be arresting criminals!
