Suzuki Baleno engine check message

Hello, the check engine light has come on and the car is running like a three legged camel on steroids. Any ideas what could be up with the jalopy ? All that happens is this blooming blight comes on, the car will not go then it seems to " clear its self " then off we go again. If anyone has come across this before I would like to hear what they did to rectify it !

Numerous possibilities in engine electronic system .. Plug, Injector, Coil-Over coil breaking down on one of plugs .. coil pack if coil pack design .. flowmeter sensor or MAP sensor, O2 (lambda) sensor problem ..
Fuel system problem maybe unlikely here .. just injector maybe.
Check air pipes onto intake system too.
Check engine earth is perfect.
Check Fuel pump operating properly. Check connections and also the relay!
