Pretty stupid question I guess.

The car has been off the road for three for some work and the radio has reverted to safe mode.....and somehow they have lost the FM button. That aside, I guess they had the battery off.

I have the 4 figure code to deactivate the safe - but how do you put it in. There is no keypad per se.

Many thanks

Just checking the interior one right now. DL is slow .. so try another!
It may well have to be 'hooked up' to do it :(
That interior one is useful if correct body-shape .. It's all interior trim and how to remove/fit. No radio tho.

Got it Al and thanks....

Scan and RDS buttons simultaneously, hold them until the code 1000 comes up and then the four figure code is tackled by hitting the radio station buttons - number one once for one, two pushes for two and so on, then number two button same thing and so on.

Once the four numbers are in, you press scan and rds simultaneously and hold until the safe comes on and then let go and the radio is unlocked.

It worked!

Just recording this for anyone else facing the same issue.

Thanks though
Great!

Glad that's sorted. It wasn't clear anywhere whether code could be entered manually or has to be hooked up on dealer computer.
