Well that's nice................have you taken your meds yet?
Even after his microphone blunder where he called the woman he`d been chatting to for half an hour a bigot?
The guy was a raving lunatic with a ferocious temper who was only concerned with his own image.
I would not trust him to tell the time.
If he asked me the time I'd check I'd still got my watch when he'd gone.......
Dont you trust mandy
Agree - and ought to be done for treason and at least indicted for governmental irresponsibility as should happen on both accounts to TB.
TB was even worse.
How could an entire nation be so conned for so long by so few?
He was handed a hospital pass by Blair though DT.
hee hee - but yes I love the Churchillian reference

An honest man, I wish he was still in charge
Couldn't put it better than rich47 - Brown trusted only to leave us in hideous debt.
We weren't all conned.
seadogg, he was desperate to be PM and accepted the hospital pass - which speaks volumes to his character (and also TB's to let him take the can).

You are right lady birder .... but unfortunately we were in the minority for too long.
Sibton, where is your evidence of his honesty?
"How could an entire nation be so conned for so long by so few?"

Hardly "entire nation" - even the so called landslide election of 1997 only saw New Labour garner 43.2% of the popular vote.
These people took the integrity out of politics. Oh for the days of men like Rab Butler and Hugh Gaitskill, both of whim I was lucky enough to meet.
very clever man brown he sold our gold when people had money
no point in trying to sell it when they are all skint
agree with seadogg but I havent met those folk he mentioned - several of the next generation on yes (in a corporate and private capacity) the most impressive, by far, being Wim Kok ex Labour PM of the Dutch and Wim Duisenberg, head of the European Bank.

I can't believe I've been conned.
