peugeot 406 wont start

plzzzz help i have a 1998 peugeot 406 1.9 td we put a new egr valve on now it wont run i have 2 fault codes iso9141 and kwp2000 any ideas plzzz

doing some research, iso9141 and kwp2000 relates to a diagnostice cable.
I would say you will need to get the codes reset
