Astra Auto transmission
thanks for the oil level suggestion. Unfortunately not that simple! Local garage (not a vauxhall agent) had a look and plugged it into their magic machine. No answers. They think it might be a relay or solenoid not operating. Hopefully external and not in the box. Just wondered if anyone ever had a similar problem. Guess it needs to be the vaux. dealer next step and lots of cash!.
