I'm thinking of buying a 2005 ford focus and need to know if it's possible to deactivate the passenger airbag? I have a 2 month old baby who needs to travel on passenger seat ( I currently drive a clio and it has a deactivation switch for use with a baby seat)
Thanks!

Some of the focus's come with deactivation switches so it is possible to safely deactivate the airbag. They were optional extras so it's just a case of finding a car with a switch.
It must be on very recent focuses then - I left the motir trade about 3 years ago - and worked for ford dealers - and the only ford I remember having a switch was the streetKa - and that was because it is a 2 seater
