Vintage MG Car Badge

Hi,

I have inherited a vintage MG Car Badge . It is approx 9 cms in diameter and 5 cms deep. Circular. Chrome sides with Black front with a Red Hexagonal centre with MG in silver in the very centre. It has 4 sprung bolts and a back plate to fasten it to the car grill. Can anybody help in telling me its age, providence, value or any web sites that might help me,
