Mazda Premacy alarm keeps going off

HI, I have a Mazda Premacy, and the alarm has started to play up.. It locks., but every now and then the alarm will go off, sometimes it will be fine for days , then the alarm will go off every time I lock it. Also, the lights used to flash when I locked it, now they don't. Is this a mega expensive job for the Mazda garage to sort out or can I do something myself? Many thanks
