if i fit an air filter induction kit to my automatic corsa,will it save me money on fuel?

do induction kits work on automatics?,or are they more suited to manual cars?

No, it will not save on fuel, it will give you 1-3 more bhp but only if you fit a performance filter aswell.

They work just the same with a manual or auto car.

An induction kit it pretty much just a less restrictive air filter, which inturn increases engine throttle responce. small power gains are possible with other modification perhaps a performance exhaust? And as for saving money on fuel dont bet on it. letting more air in to an engine tells the ecu to shove in more fuel.
look on the k&n website. Ive got 1 on my corsa which is a 1.2 16v. Apparently they can save fuel acording to k&n but prob aslong as you drive the same as you did before you had it. Now ive got mine i use more fuel cus im always putting my foot to the floor to hear it roar.
Be carefull ,if you fit one of these filters/systems you may fall into the ';has your car been modified section ' on your car insurance ,i'd check this out first before you fit it just in case.
