Hello. I have some Halfords roof bars that seem to be stuck on my car roof. Have key that should release bolts by simply turning anti clockwise but no joy. Probably sized up. Any advice to avoid paying Halfords £20 on Wednesday to do it much appreciated. Many thanks

Have you tried spraying with WD40 or similar?

WD 40 will not be much help. You need a penetrating fluid, which WD40 is not. Its a Water Dispersant (WD).
Get some proper stuff from Screwfix
