Speedo on my Fiat Punto

Hello,

i have an r reg fiat punto and the speedo has decided not to work it just stays at 0 and does not move, after sometime it will work but not for long. Can any one please help me?

its probably the speedo cable thats rounded off in either the head or at the gearbox end.

Unless it has an electronic speed probe in which case it sounds like thats faulty
