new range rover evoque

i live in north wales and for the last 3 weeks, on my commute home, i have encountered convoys of the new range rovers. they are travelling eastwards (out of wales) and they all have similar number plates (Only the last couple of letters are different), Any ABers out there have any idea what the hell thay are up to!!! i'm guessing press or dealers days out but someone out there may be able to enlighten me!
