What's wrong here ?

In penneys (primark) with daughter earlier - at counter decide to get nivea facial wipes. There was a pack of 2 with sticker on the outside saying 4.99 ( buy one get one free ) - the single pack beside was 2.49. Same wipes (you know the pink or blue packets). What would you presume to get for how much ? If you get my drift !!

Tapioca ... jam, or no ?

I'll be glad when this week is over....

I presume you would get 2 of the double packs for 4.99 (equal to 4 single packs worth c£10) - so what was wrong?

I presumed the same but was told no the 1 double pack was the BOGOF - I complained about false advertising and was told that's the way they were sent to us - what a load of ........ What's more they were .1c more in the double pack

They've made a mistake somewhere, it happens i suppose but the member of staf should have sorted it out

'lo Peri, nope, lol, to be honest i'd assume that the taped together packets was already the buy one get one free jobby, therefore i wouldn't get another packet making it 4.

but if a single pack is 2.49, anmd the buy one get one free pack is 4.99, how is it a free one? buying two single ones is the same

for it to be BOGOF the twin pack would have to be 2.49 like the single pack

Exactly and worse it's one cent more
