How the hell did the CID Guy know that Colin had died a while ago, as they had only been on the doorstep a few minutes, talking to Eileen and why didn't they call an ambulance?

I know its a soap, but the scriptwriters need to get real

i thought the same surely to say someone has been dead for sometime would mean at least an hour if not more.the joys of soap writers i am glad i prefer eastenders lol

I more or less got the impression, by things happening around them as well, that Eileen was talking to police for about 15 minutes or so before she finally allowed them in.

He wasn't left on his own in the house, Eileen just answered the door and theres know way the CID would wait on the doorstep for 20/25 minutes.

I agree though about Dev, his uncle and the Windasses, the sooner they go the better.

It made me laugh the way he was still breathing even though he was supposed to be dead. He did well to keep a straight face though !
Dev's uncle is like that character in Little Britain. Can't remember the name but the black version of Bubbles De Vere.
