Hey there,
I was just wondering whether anyone could give me any advice on where I can learn makaton sign language. Is it a valuable skill to have? I am a Speech and Language Therapy student and hope to specialise in paediatrics. Would it be a good skill to have?
I know there are courses across the UK but they tend to be very expensive. Are there any online resources I can access for free?
Many thanks

Hi Rafferty,
It's a wonderful skill to have, having worked in special needs, sign language was useful :) my friend has a dvd she made and it may be of use to you.
