Someone asked me if the name of the Butler on a TV show named Rota (spin off of the Mary Tyler Moore show) was named Carlson.....anyone know if this is true?

There was a spin off of the MTM Show called "Rhoda", that had "Carlton the Doorman" in it.

Carlton the Doorman was a character on "Rhoda" that was never seen, only his voice was heard on the intercom. His voice was provided by Lorenzo Music.

Rhoda certainly never had a Butler. Carlton the Doorman got his own spin-off animated series I think.

Lorenzo Music did voice overs for many cartoons, including Garfield / Peter Venkman in Ghostbusters / Tummi Gummi in the Gummi bears. He died in 2001
