i live on the east coast of scotland and i can safely say we have had no snow today as i said before i took tina into the fields for two hours just walking and it was nice with a little bit of sunshine all in all i have had a good day

Hi Daneswalk -we have been snowed in but its started to go to slush -my neighbours were without electricity all day and they are elderly so i was doing the flask run -but when i got back from work they had their lights on.Mind you -its crispening up i dont know what we have in store overnight -its a bit mad at the moment.

I think Daneswalk is Dave, chicho. One night he posted that the "Da" is the beginning of his name.

So I called him Dave and he never corrected it, so I am hoping I guessed it right! [:o)

No I can assure you 100% that he is who he said he is.

He named to me things only locals would know -he is a delightful gent who ventures on sometimes when he is having his wee Grouse for a wee blether -I adore having a wee craic with him but we always miss each other so i do hope others will have a wee chat with him -lovely man.

Dris, perhaps we're getting our wires crossed. Daneswalk is Daneswalk on here, and no-one else.

I was referring to Dave as his real name. One night we were talking about his username, I asked him if he lives in Danes Walk.

He told me Daneswalk comes from part of his name (Da), part of his missus's name (ne) and part of their surname (Walk). I guessed his name to be Dave, and he didn't correct me, so I have called him Dave since.
