Dave Allan

Evening All,

When I was a kid in the 70's or early 80's I'm sure I saw a programme on TV in which comedian Dave Allan joined the crew of the paddle tug 'Eppleton Hall' as she sailed to San Francisco (?) to be placed in a maritime museum.

Can anybody out there confirm I'm not imagining things or am I getting different programmes mixed up?
