what are you hoping to achieve by this?

Another lonely chatter with an unwanted reply.
Please don't get involved unless you have an answer.
unlike you, who just re-posts in various sections because no one is interested?

I would suggest that you are a problem employee, rather than you having a problem employer.

there you go!
You don't.
You confront the issue by going to see the boss and tell him/her your issue.
Posting a complaint at an anonymous website is just plain stupid.
I agree with buildersmate.
I'm not sure why you were so offended by sara3's initial response. The notion of complaining in this way appears odd on the face of it so it's reasonable of Sara to ask this question to try to understand the circumstances and rationale for your suggested course of action.
There was a case on AnswerBank a while ago of someone who was disciplined for making such a posting when it came to her company's attention.
If you really can't confront your boss, raise it with your HR department , a union official or a colleague you trust.
People have been fired for doing just that. And refused employment with other companies.

And there can be nothing worse that whinging and carping to a bunch of strangers, about somebody they don't know.

You ALL are a bunch of small minded limeys.
oh no, please just put you details on Jobs section.

what it needs is your name, their name, company, telephone number of company and full details of your complaint.
Feel free to say exactly what you want (I can see you have real hangups about that anyway)

dont worry, itll be fine!!
I am surprised, Rascal that you dismissed sara as a lonely chatter. Perhaps, if instead of taking umbrage you had advised her what you hoped to achieve, her advice could have been tailored more accurately to your needs.

Anyone who feels the need to anonymously post details of a grievance they may have with their employer (and, more so, who needs to ask others, via this site, where they should do so) can hardly appear less lonely.

Saras answer may well have been unwelcome. Thats the trouble with sites such as this. You cannot pick and choose what answers you receive or from whom you receive them.

If you want a more valid (and valued) response you should raise whatever problems you have with your boss directly with him or her. If you cannot do this then try your bosss boss or your companys HR people. If none of this is possible (because, say you work in a small or autocratic organisation) you must either put up with the situation or get out.

The action you propose is childish and ineffective. It is unlikely that your boss will get to know about your posting, and anybody reading it will not have a clue who you are or who you are talking about.

I suppose you have in mind an equivalent of "Trip Advisor". Something like "Boss Advisor", perhaps. So the more succinct answer to your question is I do not believe (unsurprisingly) that there are any such sites.

NJ, this person is based in Florida.
Expectations and protocols would seem to be different?

HA HA HA HA HA,

I NEEDED A GOOD LAUGH THIS MORINIG AND THANK YOU ALL FOR IT.

The truth is, All of you have been slided in life by whoever, but when if effects your job, your income and life, it is serious. Now all of you are acting as my judge and jury.
SHAME ON YOU, ALL SCALLYWAGGS.

Who appointed you people as my judges???
Judge yourself, fools.

youre asking about sites where you can post about your boss and youre calling us fools???

think the laugh this time was on you rascal.

ps. If you were having serious problems with your boss youd go higher up, if that wasnt resolving things perhaps youd speak to ACAS. As was said in the very first reply, what would you hope to achieve by posting on a site about the boss?
Question Author

you people are so herdable, just llike goats.
hahahahah.

Thanks for the tip, buildersmate.

It seems I've been duped by one of AB's resident half-wits (who seem to be increasing in number).

The latest responses from Rascal seem to confirm these suspicions and also confirm your suggestion that expectations, protocol (and indeed good manners) are sadly different elsewhere.

One lives and learns!
Can't you put an anonymous letter in the company suggestion box?
Yawn....
