In the street scene at the start of Corrie tonight was it just me or did anyone else notice that Gail was bobbing up & down as though she'd lost the heel from one of her shoes? or maybe she was walking with one foot in the gutter like you did when you were little? It just looked so funny to me.
And why does Deirdre always stride out around their tiny house with her arms swinging as though she's on a brisk 5 mile hike?
No insults from soap haters please...I know I should get out more :o)

hahaha.... Vincent that's the very rare ( well it is in Derbyshire) willium hornii erectus but in colder areas it's also known as the willium minisculus. At one time it was believed that it would benefit from pouring beer around the roots but that led to the problem of becksus drupus in most cases. Hope that helps. :o)

make the most of the weather today folks...it's back to wild, wet & windy tomorrow...
ha ha Robinia that is hilarious!!! Very very hot and sticky here and I hate it. Am normally in dear old Eastbourne at this time, and I'll miss World Wedding dress day, and I was gonna buy a 2nd hand wedding dress and go around a la Miss Haversham. Collected our Residencias today (permission to live here in Spain for another 5 years) that's a relief.

Hope you are all well. Shaney hope you are feeling better.

I saw the new Harry Potter film, now can I tell you all about it. I thought it was the best yet, as I normally can't understand the plot (duh) but this was was better.
hahahahaha I couldnt have got a better answer in H&G robinia..(:O)
blimey,another 5 years in spain netti,that is a relief...hehe..!(:O)
you can tell me what was that prophecy supposed to be all about and what was that place at the end where they had the big fight with all the crystal balls and who was the big blond guy, a Malfoy or something, and how can everyone ride those fistral things if they can't even see them, and how could those two Weasleys disrupt the exam, I mean wasn't the Umbridge woman supposed to be a powerful wizard but all she did was run away, and why couldn't she just zap the centaurs and things....
eh!!!!
On consideration jno I didn't understand it at all, but I did enjoy it, and when the Weasley Boys flew in, I cheered and clapped like in the ABC Minors. Shall we discuss "Simpsons the Movie", I think I did understand that one, but not too deeply!
....or maybe "Noddy in Toyland" I really really knew what that was about (well except for the goblins in the wood - they confused me)

crikey, I thought I could talk gobbledegook
poor Kit's going to have her work cut out deciphering this page today.
Rupert was more my thing...the bear that is, not Grint....you could just look at the pics. Never could do that origami stuff tho' - I used to have to turn the book upside down to work it out.
Hi Folks
Glad to see you are all OK ...I'm not too bad meself .....still a bit lost without the cheesehound .
I have only looked at one HP book book which belongs to a great nephew who assured me I would enjoy it immensely ..Hmmmm.....I think I fell asleep after the first chapter ...fantasy and scifi horror and the like doesn't float my boat ! I have attempted to read Lord of the Rings time and time again but cannot get into it . I must miss out on a lot !
But just for the record I am plodding through Andy Marrs History of Modern Britain and if I finish it ..it will be a bl==dy record !!
Possums, do you want me banned from the supposedly silent library...

Dr Phil stays with me, Robinia! You can have Dr Philling, ha ha ha. Oh okay, take him. But if it's about your green fingers again, you know you're just being spoilt, girl...

Good to see you, Shaney! Neti, love your sister's garden.

God daaaamn the pusher man, that's a good one, Vinny, had forgotten that one completely and yet it's instantly totally familiar. Strange, that. One of our finest poets, Tomas Transtrmer, described time as not linear but like a labyrinth: You put so many miles behind you, but at certain moments - like when finding and re-reading an old letter - you can suddenly hear yourself hurrying by on the other side of the wall twenty-six years earlier, very close to where you're standing now with all those miles already done. Music works like that too, doesn't it.

Speaking of Miss Puss having the time of her life (as the Fruitcake Lady did), I learned a new? game called What's your porn name, as in if you were a porn movie star. Here's how you do it. First, you take the name of the street where you grew up, then, the name of your first pet. For instance, if you grew up on Duke Street and had a dog called Stumpy, you'd be Duke Stumpy, ha ha ha. Or you could be Cannon Cuddles. Or Miss Cheapside Puss. Mine's Regiment Zsa Zsa. I love my porn name, I love my porn name! Hurry, hurry, I want yours! I won't sell them! You know me!
Fluffy Upperton here!!

lol neti......erm, Brooke Thumper here Kit
goodness me, it's like the royal hornicultural society in here, I don't see one in ages & then three pop up all at once....
<thinks back to 26 yrs ago>....no thanks....18 yrs would be better & know what I know now of course....

Hello Biddies everywhere well what a most fantabulous weekend. Everything went absolutely perfect after I had found my way round a detour after the road I needed to take to the venue was closed by the police LOL. (by the way Kit this is Greenland Cindy not much of a porn name is it!) Anyway back to the wedding. Everything went well and when my son made his speech he said he was going to end by playing his guitar and singing a song to his wife. So he started with "Yesterday all my troubles seem so far away" and stopped and said "you should have seen all your faces" anyway when the laughter died down he proceeded to sing, I think it's a Paul Weller song called My English Rose, to his wife. What a moment and the waitresses said they hadn't seen anything like it before at a wedding there.
In the evening they had booked a Beatles tribute band who did two sets. The first as they were when they first started and the second when they had aged and let there hair grow. Very good it was too. Guess what there last song was of course Hey Jude so the best man took me onto the floor for a bit of a dance. Then there was a disco as well and we all danced the night away. The happy couple are now off to the Continent doing a tour of Switzerland and France for 3 weeks ending up in Monte Carlo for a week and I'm on Cat Duty.
Thanks Vinny for the Piccy of me in the hat. That brought a smile to my face as I'm not a hat person and didn't wear one but that one really suited me I thought lol.
Anyway hope you are all ok nice to see you Shaney you will be bound to miss your pal for a long time but it does get easier.
See you all again soon and thanks for your good wishes about the wedding. xx :o)
Fluffy Upperton! That's you exactly, Neti! Now don't you worry about what Vinny said about us building a wall around Sweden. I'm not worried. I know you'll become distracted at the airport and end up in another country altoghether...

They're closing! (Saved by the bell...)
Hi Robi and Jude, will read next time... bye now!

Hi Jude...glad to hear it was a lovely day for you ...weddings these days always seem very complicated affairs to me. I've told my sister, much to her disgust, that if I was ever to do it again she'd hear about it the following day! Love Paul Weller, think I'll go & play Sunflower very loudly, it gives me goosebumps...luckily my neighbour's gone out.
