Will tthere ever be an ending to TV mini series INVASION and SURFACE

both these mini series were great. invasion was left up in the air, with no ending. i bought the dvd completed version. it was not a completed version. it just ended with the last episode. it left me hanging. surface the same. a flood with the main characters left on top of the church. whats going to happen with these two. will they be left like that.
