Possibly because there's a large number of people (myself included) who were huge Lost fans and don't have, and won't get Sky. Perhaps like me they're waiting for the DVD to come and just catch up with it all at once. It's not the same as waiting for it to come on TV once a week though.
I couldn't agree more, I'm sick to death of Sky, they're getting to be a real pain. I understand now that they've said they're going to be offering certain channels on freeview - except that if you want Sky Freeview you'll have to cough up for yet another digibox ... presumably to stand on top of the pile of different 'boxes' you've already got! Well to hell with them, I refuse to buy television from them; to pay through the nose for the one or two channels I might like but also have to put up with heaps of rubbish I'll never watch, and I'm never likely to change my mind!
Bu99er that. I download 'em.
If I couldn't then I just wouldn't bother.

I'd rather throw my TV under a bus than pay Rupert Murdoch any of my hard earned cash. Besides most of Sky's output is recycled old TV and American cop shows.
as a lost fan, I have to tell you that series 3 is a massive disppointment so far.all the mystery has gone and the series 2 cliffhanger seems to have been forgotten about.
I disagree Mattk.
I am a lost fan too. But I'm loving series 3!!

I don't have sky but a friend has and she tapes it for me and 2 other people!! The tape gets passed around for a week so that we all get to watch it!!
Good Lord, Cameo, don't let anyone from Sky know about that, they'll probably take your video recorder away, they're so bloody minded!!!

i think it would probably still watch it if I had sky.. though I havnt heard much about it so im thinking there hasn't been any life changing events happened on it. from what i've seen they just jump around from on event to the next and when it ends (in about 30 years time...) the conclusion will be something like 'it was all a dream' lol
