Having watched this, I thought that Camilla was portrayed as a likeable character and Diana as an unlikeable one. Anyone else any opinions on it?

I refused to watch it as I feel so strongly about Charles being a B*******d. What he did was wrong. He had no right to marry Diana when he was still very much involved with Camilla.I am no 'Royal' but have got standards.
I started to watch it, but found the characters so utterly cliched and cardboard, I gave up. Not even the royals, and their circle talk in that awful stilted hackneyd accent - it's an invention of TV programme makers with their eye on the American market.

Never saw it, but I never liked Diana anway, from the start, no opinion on Camilla, but in a case like this, it takes three to Tango.

It appears that the media want us to accept Camilla and would portray her as nice and Diana as bad. If the programme makers needed royals cooperation they were probably restricted in portraying Camilla as the ambitious old hag that she is! Diana was an impressionable young girl and did what she did to survive in an environment where she didnt fit. Camilla seems to be very comfortable and enjoying the limelight. Shes a very ambitious woman who wants to be Queen. I will never accept her as royalty and I too believe Prat Charles shouldnt have used Diana. I new he never could have loved Diana, when his reply to the question of his feelings for Diana was validated by him by retorting- "what ever love is" at the anouncement of their engagement.

The Queen appears to be a petty minded and uncaring woman underneath the facade. Did you see the programme following her on the QE2, some years ago -she complained too an African official who asked how the day went about a little down pour spoiling the day and he put her straight by telling her how grateful his people were of the much needed rain. The royals live in a private world that normal people cannot comprehend. I didnt however watch the programme because I am no longer interested in the royals.

And whats this about Charlie changing his name so he wont be jinxed, I dont think changing his name will make any difference

I watched the programme, not because I like the royals (although I did like Diana) and I thought at the end of it that Charles and Camilla were scheming individuals who manipulated an innocent girl. The sad thing is, I think Diana really loved him when she married him.

And as for him being King George, because the Charles's are jinxed, I don't think that's gonna help, the damage has already been done!
